When we will have erased all dividing boundaries of self, color origin, politic or ideology in order to include the environment, each other and the earth as an entity in and of itself as well as the rest of the universe connected inside and out. Only then will we be ready for what can only be described as a quantum leap into worlds of fantastic and unimaginable wonder, possibly even the nature of God. Maybe then we will regain a perspective that transcends anything like a name, A sense of reverence and respect that must have been common amongst our ancestors at a time when everything was sacred.

We have only to look within ourselves to find or rekindle a sense of the sacred and mythic imagination that somehow must be locked away in the hidden recesses of the heart, mind. Try to find it. It's roots go deep and if the intellect radiates from it to greater and greater distances, the results touch not only the next generation but the but the next one and beyond.

At the rate at which things are changing now, remember that the day, night, sun, moon, stars and all the seasons are natures way of telling time. Enjoy the things you have now, especially family, friends, and loved ones. Treasure these things and find time to do the things you really love to do. Time is precious as all things are passing away.

METACONTENT
by Mark Allen Shepherd

bright light flashed
flitted across my mind
filled my head
a symbolic realm

while the eye of God blazed like the sun
beautiful, transcendent
leading up to the stars
opening up
deep and mystical
a crack in the cosmic egg

ancient symbols
of ages past
almost alive
surpass time
to tell a story
a magical flutter
strange and wonderful

a spontaneous and undifferentiated oneness
random and perpetual
faceless like clouds

a perfectly real, conscious, illusory light
like a shaman
poised on a wave of timeless nowever
an invisible chord connects us
dancing along the inner corridors

celebrating messages long forgotten
lost to something so strange as a name
like bizarre alien artifacts strewn along highways
driven out of some more intense mode of existence

mingling, merging, imaginal seams of inner life
a brilliant sorcery of reflections
of nature
of reality itself
a forest of epiphanies

angels of chaos
opener of doors
vision tricksters dance
delirious behind their masks
antics of moonlight
in a dimensionless substance of happenstance
mischievous unleashing
with spectral brilliance
an animation of enchanted spirits
perform for a court of angels
who all perceive this place as paradise

a magical circle
embedded in consciousness
an emblem of the mind
herald of dreams
display luminous banners
from a throne of imaginal space
consumed by still unimagined delight
filled the air
thunder in spring time

The story behind this is Mark went 3 days without sleep, then was asked to sit on stage and act as if he had just told the funniest joke in the universe. Well not knowing what speech would be like in the 24th century he sat down and wrote this, when asked to recite it, he replied...
